Searching

Fluttering about
somewhere in cyberspace,
so hard to find,
is a monarch mate.

There have been a few butterflies of passion,
compassion,
and intellectual stimulation,
but always
winds of circumstance blew us in separate directions.

A monarch mate;
will I ever find her
or must I forever wander
without her?
